1. General Overview

By accessing this website, dining at Kathir Restaurant, or reserving our banquet facilities in Kallady, Batticaloa, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Menu Prices & Currency

All menu item prices are stated in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are subject to change based on seasonal availability of fresh coastal ingredients. While we strive to maintain accurate live pricing on our digital menu, final billings reflect the rates confirmed at order placement.

3. Banquet Enquiries vs. Confirmed Bookings

Submitting a banquet or wedding enquiry via this website does NOT constitute a confirmed booking. Bookings are only finalized once:

Management formally confirms date and hall availability.
Both parties execute the banquet reservation agreement.
The required reservation advance or deposit is received and receipted.

4. Halal Policy & Outside Food

Kathir maintains a strictly halal-certified kitchen. To safeguard food safety, religious compliance, and health standards, outside food and unauthorized beverages are strictly prohibited on restaurant and banquet premises unless authorized in writing by management (e.g. approved custom birthday cakes).
